I’m Matthew Klein, and I started Home Helpers of New York so no family faces that moment without real options, clear answers, and someone in their corner.
Why we exist
As a teenager in Queens in 2000, I experienced foreclosure firsthand. A city marshal gave our family ten minutes to take what we could before the door was stickered and re-entry meant arrest. Walking out with two duffel bags and not much else leaves a mark.
That day created a mission: make sure no homeowner ever faces foreclosure blindsided, pressured, or alone.
